A New Chapter

I'm packing up and moving out of this town in exactly 23 days. Hallelujah! I've spent the past year in its entirety looking forward to the next four years of my life spent in College Station. Though I will miss those closest to me, it is time to get the ball rolling.

My "mission" is to actually keep up with this blog. I've had a few blogs here and there throughout high school and I quickly forget to post and they just fade away to nothing...so no...I'm not a blog virgin...but this time it is going to be different. 

So here we go...starting a new chapter in life. College. A place where you truly meet the best friends you will ever have. A place where most meet their soul mates. A place where you get to choose exactly what you want to take and when. College. I absolutely cannot wait. For those of you who have never been to Texas A&M you are missing out. Sure it isn't the most beautiful campus on the planet, but the people are actually friendly. For instance my mother and I were walking through campus last fall with a map confused and trying to find the specific building we were looking for at the time, and immediately a student stopped and escorted us to our destination. Though my mom was embarrassed that a kid 20 years younger than her had to show her how to read a map, she was convinced: Texas A&M will be a good place for her daughter. Granted one instance with a guy helping an attractive woman and her shy daughter read a map doesn't exactly prove A&M's wonder...it's a start.
